This article looks at cost- and time-effective ways to lose weight. It addresses the issue of reducing calorie intake, mentioning the new step diet promoted in the book published by Hill et al. in 2005. Ways to increase the bodys metabolic rate are mentioned with reference to different forms of exercise and their effectiveness. Cardio-vascular exercise is recommended in conjunction with little and often eating habits. Fluid intake is also discussed, advising on how much water to drink and how reducing alcohol consumption can lead to weight loss.
